My water heater flooded my home back in May 2025 and a plumber from AAA Service Plumbing, Heating, and Electric came out to replace it. When the plumber was at my home, he told me about Bone Dry Services and called them to come out. Bone Dry immediately came to my home and assessed the damages. And they immediately set up fans and dehumidifiers for mitigation of the water damages. I had already had a water damage claim opened up with my insurance carrier and so the process got started between Bone Dry and my insurance company.

I am going to steal a comment from the previous review - J.D. Stewart went above and beyond for me; That absolutely sums up my sentiment. While unlike the previous review, honestly I was not totally happy with the initial progress. JD was able to change my view of BoneDry. I acknowledge that every company has problems, but the important thing is to address them decisively and correct them rapidly. BoneDry did that with irreplaceable from JD. Because of that I am willing to overlook their (resolved) problems and recommend their services to anyone.

Do you respond during snowstorms and holiday weekends?
Yes — the crew is based in the valley, so pass closures don’t stop local response. Peak ski weekends are our busiest season for freeze breaks; call (970) 236-3257 and dispatch gives you a live ETA.
I’m a second-home owner out of state. How does this work remotely?
We handle access via lockbox or your property manager, document everything with photos and moisture logs, and bill your insurer directly. You approve scope by phone or email — most owners never need to make the trip.
My property is in Granby or Grand Lake — is that too far?
No. Everything in Grand County dispatches from this location; Granby is about 25 minutes and Grand Lake about 45 up US-34. For Summit County, see our Frisco location.
Does drying really take longer at altitude?
Yes — lower air pressure changes evaporation rates, so equipment loads and dry times differ from Denver jobs. Our techs monitor daily with moisture meters rather than running a fixed schedule, which protects you from both wet structure and inflated equipment days.
