Project Details
We were called to a home with widespread mold growth caused by a long-term leak from a failed drain pipe. After inspection, extensive remediation was required across multiple rooms. Our team began by installing full negative-air containment to stop the spread of mold spores and contaminants to unaffected areas.
Next, we removed all materials impacted by mold, including damaged drywall, insulation, and flooring. With non-structural materials out, we treated structural components (studs, sheathing, subfloor) using chemical antimicrobial solutions followed by antimicrobial fogging to address airborne spores. We then performed encapsulation on cleaned surfaces and used dry-ice blasting in targeted areas to eliminate residual growth and help prevent regrowth.
Once mitigation was complete and the property was confirmed safe and clean, we transitioned the project to our reconstruction team to restore the home to its original condition.
