Project Details
We responded to a sewage backup that flooded the customer’s entire basement. Our first priority was to extract all standing sewage and establish negative-air containment to prevent the spread of harmful bacteria and airborne contaminants throughout the home.
Once the area was safely contained, we removed all affected materials that had been saturated with sewage—flooring and sections of drywall via flood cuts. With non-structural materials out of the way, we applied specialized chemical treatments to all exposed framing to disinfect and sanitize the area.
Next, we installed professional drying and dehumidification equipment to thoroughly dry structural components and ensure no moisture was left behind. After mitigation and drying were complete, our team managed the reconstruction, restoring the basement to its original condition and ensuring the home was safe, clean, and fully functional again.
